Summary
The Spanish Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITECO) has published a Draft Order creating a capacity market in the Spanish electricity system.
Electricity is a commodity that is distinguished from all others by its limited storage capacity and high storage cost, which means that production and demand have to coincide at all times.
