CoordiNet aims to establish a collaboration scheme between TSO, DSO to enable consumers to participate in local markets and national balancing services.

The purpose of CoordiNet is to establish different collaboration schemes between transmission system operators (TSO), distribution system operators (DSO) and consumers to contribute to the development of a smart, secure and more resilient energy system. Particular emphasis is placed on the analysis and definition of flexibility in the grid at all voltage levels, from the TSO and DSO domain to consumer participation.

Bamboo participates in the Demo in Malaga, where three commercial buildings provide flexibility services to the DSO to solve local congestion by controlling air conditioning systems. The Bamboo platform enables these buildings to participate in the local flexibility market, organised by N-Side, competing with other flexibility service providers.

At the same time, Bamboo offers its monitoring platform to 7 other buildings in the municipality of Malaga, to raise consumer awareness of energy consumption and improve grid monitoring.

  1. Assist network operators and regulators to understand the requirements of flexibility services in order to improve its design.
  2. Propose innovative business models and regulations that enable the deployment of demand response at local and national level.
  3. Participating in a competitive local flexibility market, through the integration with the N-Side Platform.
