Bamboo Energy offers a software platform called Bamboo Platform, which allows independent energy aggregators and energy retailers seeking to provide demand flexibility in the energy market to automate their services and forecast flexibility, thereby optimizing their customer portfolio. The overall objective of the project is to improve technology adoption and engagement among end users (flexumers or flexibility providers) to increase their participation as energy flexibility providers, as these are essential to Bamboo Energy's business model and represent one of the main barriers to scaling. This will be implemented for both industrial and commercial users, with a particular focus on residential users, where the barriers to participation as flexibility providers are greater.
