Summary
Greater shares of renewable energy penetration in the power system require an increase of the power system’s flexible capacity to maintain the balance between the generation and the demand.
As the energy transition advances and we decarbonize our power sector, it becomes more important to understand- “what is flexibility?” and “what agents can provide flexible power to the electrical system?”.
