Organized by EIT InnoEnergy, The Business Booster takes place on November 3-4 in Berlin to facilitate connections between the sustainable energy ecosystem.
Bamboo Energy comes to TBB with a triple objective: to establish alliances with strategic investors, discover sector trends and innovations and consolidate links with aggregating clients. And it is that energy investors, industry representatives, emerging companies and regulators meet in this annual meeting of reference in Europe – which in this edition is held in Berlin – to generate new sustainable business opportunities.
Three of the founders of the Barcelona startup –Cristina Corchero, Alex Gomar and Manel Sanmartí– have traveled to Berlin with a full agenda the two days that the event takes place, and clear expectations: “to open relationships with potential clients, large companies that they have been looking for innovative technological solutions to expand their portfolio of solutions, with the aim of accelerating the energy transition, and also to contact European energy investors who can help us promote our next internationalization and the seed round that we have planned for the end of this year / principles of the next one ”, explains Cristina Corchero, founder of Bamboo Energy.
The Business Booster is EIT InnoEnergy’s annual international networking event, showcasing more than 150 sustainable energy technologies and hosting around 120 pitching sessions and 2,100 b2b meetings. Every year, the event rotates between the European capitals: Barcelona, Berlin, Amsterdam, Copenhagen and Paris have been its venues. In 2020, the event was redesigned in a digital context, bringing together more than 1,200 attendees from 41 countries at TBB.Connect, and this year its celebration will again take place in a face-to-face format.
In this year’s edition, TBB has the participation of nearly 40 prestigious speakers, among which are Maroš Šefčovič, Vice-President of the European Commission; Kadri Simson, the European energy commissioner; Adelaide Cracco, responsible for Environmental and Climate Impact of the European Investment Fund (EIF) and Diego Pavía, CEO of InnoEnergy, among others.
As Cristina Corchero values, “we participate in TBB because it is one of the key events for startups dedicated to energy. EIT InnoEnergy promotes the entire field of European innovation in energy and is the meeting point between startups and investors and large corporates ”.
EIT InnoEnergy has become the world’s largest organization supporting innovation and entrepreneurship in sustainable energy, having directly invested € 650 million in nearly 500 innovative products and services. Bamboo Energy is one of the startups that has a significant investment from EIT InnoEnergy.
